A few years ago Ken Okamoto-Kaminski and I did the exercises in Agresti & Finlay “Statistical Methods for the Social Sciences“. We did the exercises for which there is a key, and the document shows how we solved all these exercises. These are my notes, and everything is handwritten. The edition we used had a misprint in the answer for exercise 3.5.f (I’ve checked this with Agresti, so the misprint should be fixed in newer editions).
A Guide to Better Essay Writing
A while ago I wrote a booklet on better essay writing at university. It is a fresh and practical guide to essay writing and includes real examples from my own past essays to make the text more approachable. I also tried to include insights from the point of view of the markers. This booklet introduces a general step-by-step approach to good writing, including tips of how this can be used in practice. Different academic conventions are discussed, and where applicable explained. The subject matter of the book makes it suitable to all levels of university students, both undergraduate and taught postgraduate students in the social sciences.
